Selena Gomez may know what boys want, but after that she’s going to need a vacation in Monte Carlo after.

The 17-year-old starlet has nabbed a role in the upcoming movie based on “Headhunters” by Jules Bass. The film is about a group of American women who ditch a disappointing no-frills holiday in Paris and pose as wealthy women vacationing in Monaco, Variety reports.

While Leighton Meester is still in negotiations, Nicole Kidman is said to play a supporting role and produce the flick.

The updated script has put a younger spin on the story, with two of the characters in college and one just out of high school.

Monte Carlo will also further the relationship between Selena and Fox 2000. The company is producing with Walden Media on Ramona and Beezus.

Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (MNT) kills one baby every four minutes. MNT can abruptly turn the joy of new life into wrenching tragedy. Its effects are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and become hypersensitive to light, sound and touch. Even a mother’s soothing voice and comforting caress are unbearable for the infant. Few babies survive. Tetanus may claim the mother’s life as well.
In impoverished countries, where women have little access to health care, many are forced to give birth in an unsanitary conditions. Tetanus spores are found everywhere — in the air, soil and contaminated objects. Bacteria can enter the mother’s body through open wounds and pass through a newly cut umbilical cord. Once the baby is infected, a lethal toxin attacks his or her nervous system.
Tetanus is highly preventable. Three doses of a low cost vaccine can protect mothers and babies.

Disney darlings Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus have earned 2010 Young Artist Award nominations.

Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are nominated against each other for Leading or Supporting Young Actress in a Movie (for their roles in Princess Protection Program).

Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus has earned a nod for Leading Young Actress in a TV Series (for her role in Hannah Montana). iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove has been nominated against Cyrus.

The 2010 Young Artist Awards will air on Sunday April 11. Visit their official site for a complete list of nominees.

Miley Cyrus also racked up several nominations for Kids Choice Awards including Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer. Meanwhile, Selena Gomez earned a nod for Favorite TV Actress while Demi Lovato’s show Sonny With A Chance earned a nod for Favorite TV Show.

Los Angeles, CA, United States (CNS)—Walt Disney Records is getting ready to release “Radio Disney Jams 12,” and they’re giving fans of the Disney stars more of what they want. That includes two tracks from Selena Gomez, two Miley Cyrus tracks, and three cuts from Nick Jonas and the Jonas Brothers.

According to Tommy2.net, Gomez contributes her debut album’s first single “Falling Down” as well as the “Wizards of Waverly Place” soundtrack cut “Magic,” while Cyrus is featured as herself with her huge hit “Party in the U.S.A.” and as Hannah Montana with “He Could Be the One.” Nick Jonas appears solo on two songs, his single “Who I Am” and “Give Love a Try,” an unreleased track from the show “JONAS.” Jonas Brothers also appear with “Fly With Me.”

Set for release on March 30^th, “Radio Disney Jams 12″ also features songs from Justin Bieber, who contributes the “My Heart Edition” of his hit “One Time,” Demi Lovato with “Here We Go Again,” and Owl City’s #1 single “Fireflies.”

Disney also makes good on their promise to Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing winner Jasmine, whose slot on the “Radio Disney Jams 12″ compilation was among her prizes. She contributes her new single titled “Boy Crazy.”

Nearly all of the artists featured on “Radio Disney Jams 12″ can currently be found on Radio Disney’s Top 30 countdown.

In the upcoming episode “Positive Alex,” Alex (Gomez) has a crush on George (guest star Austin Butler), the school’s band leader, but is unable to get his attention because he’s turned off by her sour attitude and unenergetic cheers at the school basketball games.

Determined to get George to ask her to the school dance, she casts a spell on herself to become a positive person, but Alex’s new-found optimism turns out to be too much when she starts cheering for the opposing team.

Meanwhile, Justin (David Henrie) has joined the basketball team and is trying to get a big senior moment captured on video.
